We value your business with us very highly, and draw your attention to the terms & Conditions below before you confirm your booking or make any payment.  Please contact us immediately if there is anything that you do not understand, or is unclear. Your booking assumes your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Contract:  Your contract is made with A2E Emergency Response Training Services Ltd, hereinafter referred to as A2E, or the Company.  These Terms & Conditions are fixed by the Company Director, and are altered and amended only by them. The Company Director is committed to operating in a fair and professional manner.
Law: The Law covering these Terms & Conditions will at all time be English Law (England & Wales).
Confidentiality:  Your personal and group details remain confidential within A2E and are not available to any outside sources, except as legally required.  Please call our company director if you wish to discuss any aspect of your course confidentially.
Courses: The word ‘Courses’ refers to the course, event or programme, and may include short breaks. A2E reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any of its courses.  Circumstances creating this issue would be exceptional.
Delegates:  Most courses are intended for adult participants aged 16 years or older
Bookings:  A2E assumes that the person booking your courses has the authority to do so, and has read these Terms & Conditions.  Your booking is only accepted upon written confirmation, either by letter or email.
Trainers:  All A2E trainers are qualified to teach and deliver (only) the specific courses they are allocated.  Each trainer will meet your delegates on arrival and they will also be responsible for the course administration and personal matters (e.g. illness, injury etc), but any expenditure (e.g. transport home) will be the responsibility of each delegate.   The Trainers are expected to act in a professional manner throughout course; if there are any causes for concern, then these are to be directed to the Managing Director (only) within A2E.   Any matters arising due to a disciplinary nature, will be dealt with within the company, and any information required (only if applicable) of such matters will be forwarded to the other parties concerned.
Refusal to provide training:  A2E reserve the right to refuse training to any individual, either before or during the course.  In the unlikely event of this occurring, A2E will take whatever action is appropriate at that time to minimise Health & Safety risks to the individual, group, A2E personnel, their subcontractors and any other individuals who may be affected.  A2E will contact the person responsible for making the contract with A2E detailing reasons for refusal and disclosing any relevant information or evidence supporting the refusal.  In the case of illegal activity, the police will usually be informed and A2E will usually consult their legal advisors.  Examples of such activity may be the possession and use of alcohol and controlled substances, verbal or physical abuse and, theft or criminal damage. A2E will prosecute if applicable.
Pricing:  We reserve the right to amend prices in line with course requirements.  Our offer letter with details of your course (s) including prices will be valid for 90 days.  When accepted by you, these prices are guaranteed EXCEPT in the case that you require additional products, services or materials not included in our offer originally, but required during your course, i.e. additional to the agreement.  Therefore, it is important that you have included ALL YOUR REQUIREMENTS as specified in our offer letter/email.  Please contact us if we have not included some specifics you require as soon as possible.  If we have not received from verbal or written notice of errors or omissions within our offer letter within 7 days of posting, we will assume that you are in agreement with the content as described.  Any subsequent products, services or materials will be charged at market rates in line with the Company policy, and due for payment at the end of the course.
Payment:  For all courses, full payment on booking is required. A2E reserve the right to refuse admission to the course or withhold certification if the correct payment is not received by the due date, or date as agreed with the Company Director.
Payment Methods:  All payments to be made to A2E Emergency Response Training Services via cheque or BACS transfer:

Courses may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the start of the course with only 10% payment retained or postponed for up to 3 months.  If postponement period is greater than 3 months (90 days) this would be viewed as a cancellation and would therefore require a new quote and full booking fee.
Cancellations and postponements made between 13 and 7 days prior to the start of the course will incur a charge of 20% of the full course fee.
For cancellations and postponements received less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will incur a charge of 50% of the full course fee.
All cancellations must be made in writing or email to A2E Emergency Response Training Services.
Delegate numbers for courses will be agreed at course booking. Courses will be charged as confirmed at booking. Any changes to delegate numbers must be agreed prior to the start of the course and may incur administrative fees.
In the context of cancellations or non-attendance the full fee is due to A2E.
No refund will be given for delegates who fail to complete the course or who do not achieve the required standard.
A2E reserves the right to cancel any course or to change its dates or venue. In the event of a course being cancelled by A2E a full refund of any fees paid will be given. If a delegate is unable to attend due to changes made by A2E to venue or dates, a full refund of any fees paid for that delegate will be made.  No further compensation will be given.
Complaints:  In the first instance, you should report verbally to the instructor in charge of the course.  If this is impractical, you should report verbally to the Company Director.  Every attempt will be made by A2E to resolve the problem (however small or large), at that time, to the satisfaction of the person making the complaint.  If the complaint is still unresolved, you should write to the Managing Director after the course.  The MD will acknowledge your complaint, investigate and report back to you within 7 working days.  If it can be determined that A2E or their representative or agent were at fault; actions will be taken to prevent repetition, and your complaint will be reassessed by the Company Director to establish any negligence or misdemeanour, resulting in refunding fees.
A2E reserves the right to withhold any certificates due to delegates until full payment has been received.
Safety: Any training provided by A2E is the responsibility of A2E. It is the customers’ responsibility to ensure that the customer and any other potential users of any defibrillator have read and understood the user’s guides and manuals supplied with the defibrillator. It is the customers’ responsibility to ensure that the equipment is used and operated only as specified in the user’s manuals and guides supplied with the equipment. It is the customers’ and users’ responsibility to be aware of all possible consequences of actual or attempted resuscitation.

That’s the formalities over…..we look forward to working with you.
